I was hired at Helac in April 2014 as the sole Applications Engineer, with my main role being technical support for new customers and sales staff as we attempted to expand the market penetration of our helical sliding spline rotary actuators.
In 2015, I was also tasked with the role of Service Department Manager, overseeing the team that provides repair and core rebuild programs to customers. Since becoming the Service Manager, I have initiated programs to improve our ability to track warranty issues. The goal of these programs is to guide future company quality improvements toward issues that will have the greatest cost reduction impact.

The latest addition to my responsibilities was becoming the Product Manager for the actuator product lines, including the L10, L20, L30, L40, T20, T30 and T40 lines. I work directly for the Business Development Manager, determining pricing, marketing strategy and future direction for these and potential future product lines.
