Welcome to my engineering design portfolio! This portfolio contains samples of my engineering design work as a demonstration of my skills and experience.
As a young, creative and motivated engineer, I am equipped with a curiosity toward enhancing products, whether through design, materials, efficiency of production, eco-friendliness, or profitability, along with strong technical skills and passion for engineering design.
Since graduating Magna Cum Laude through the Honors’ Program of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Mathematics, I have gained 11 years of experience in various engineering roles, including data analysis, design, project management, product engineering, and managing a team. In all of my projects at Jacobs Engineering, Beaudrey , NOV (R&M Energy) and Parker Hannefin (Helac), I worked closely with both clients and contractors, forming relationships and solving emerging problems. I have 6 years combined experience with AutoCAD, Pro/Engineer and Solid Works and feel very confident in my design abilities. I also have several years of product management experience developing and determining direction for various product lines. My relevant work experience along with my ability to learn quickly would enable a smooth transition to any team.

In my personal time, I have been working on my own designs - namely inventing an electric motor capable of converting any conventional car into a hybrid. I designed the individual parts and had them manufactured by a local machine shop, after which I hand-built the motors myself. Having built the motors, control and sensor circuits, battery pack and wiring harness, I am currently testing the entire system.
​Outside of engineering, I love to exercise my creativity as a father to four amazing, brilliant kids, ages 3 months, 2, 5, and 7. Whether designing art projects, building lego creations and forts, passing on my love for reading and learning, explaining Bernoulli's principle or simply giving hugs and kisses, my love for family inspires me in all that I do. My wife and children are the driving force behind my career and my reason for pursuing excellence in all that I do.
